Rule 30
Arrangements for rehabilitation and service centers

(1) In case the victim or his/her witness needs to live in a short-term shelter or service center for earning a living, or needs support related to earning a living, the victim can submit an application to the commission or the office with sufficient and credible grounds.
(2) If an application is received as per sub-rule (1) - if it is found that the victim or his witness should be placed in a short-term shelter or service center, the commission or the office shall do the following related activities in order to keep such victim or his witness in a short-term shelter or service center for earning a living:-
(a) To send in writing to the concerned authority for shelter in a short-term shelter or service centre,
(b) Requesting and sending requests for assistance to relevant government and non-government agencies for skill-based and income-generating training and employment,
(c) According to the need, send requests for assistance to the relevant agencies for free education and health treatment of the victims and beneficiaries who have received GIDIP.
(3) If written in accordance with sub-rule (2), the relevant short-term shelter or service center shall make arrangements to keep it in the center and inform the Commission or the relevant office.
